Not men but "men"

Can anyone recommend good books or online resources on "masculinity" from a feminist perspective? -- i.e. ways of looking at the sort of ritualized, semi-humorous homophobia and misogyny that you see in young male culture?
Believe it or not, the spouse needs this for seminary; I told him I'd poll my Hip Bent Feminist Librarian peoples.

perhaps especially for seminary

I read it in a class called "Beyond God the Father: An Introduction to Gender and Religion." Obviously, the Mary Daly book of the same name was also on the list, which grapples with gender and religion more generally, and from a woman's perspective. God's Phallus discusses masculinity from a feminist perspective, but does so via Old Testament analysis, and focuses on the problematic male embodiment of God for the male faithful. Perhaps it will be helpful to him? I remember it being very well-written, and the cover is almost too clever for words.
