Smut for art scandal!

Three things are true.

1. For some time now, I've been thinking, "Hey, I quit writing smutlets. Why did I quit writing smutlets? I ought to write some more smutlets."

2. For some time now, I've also been thinking, "Hey, I need some icons. I'm not so good at making icons. I wish I could get people to make them for me."

3. LJ is evidently now allowing 100 icons per paid journal.

This is like that thing where all the planets lined up and ... well, I guess nothing dramatic happened then, did it. Well, nevertheless, it's too good to resist. So: If you make me one of these icons, I'll write you a smutlet.



How the smutlet thing works: Leave me a comment below. Tell me which icon you're going to make. Give me a pairing and a word. (I used to say "an abstract noun," but why limit yourself? I'll work with "spatula" if that's what you long for.) I'll write you 250 or so words of (usually) nothing but sex.

Icons I need, with specific art and/or text (I only need one of each of these):

Rodney: Slower than expected, but faster than humanly possible
Brian (from Breakfast Club): Demented and sad, but social
Any appropriate SGA art: ... and then my head exploded.
Rodney looking battered and brave (text optional)
John looking mean and/or like he's up to something (text optional)

Fandoms I can write:

- Atlantis.
- Due South.
- Harry Potter, with caveats (have not digested HBP, which is causing problems with the older generation, but would feel comfortable writing Gryfs of Harry's generation in pretty much any combination).
- Hornblower litslash (i.e. no Kennedy, sorry).
- Many obscure books; just ask me. If I've read it, I'll attempt it.

ETA: Oh, what the hell. Movies, too, Breakfast Club included.

ETA 2: Hey, even if I run out of icons, I'll probably still keep writing smutlets.

Did six different ones with your chosen caption (http://www.livejournal.com/users/_inbetween_/343064.html#cutid2) which btw you'll have to explain to me, I might have forgotten. Tomorrow I'd happily potter around for hours and do any other subjects or faces that nobody has made you by then, unless you tell me to stop. I made the fonts large coz I do remember, but anything else is also customisable.

I'd do them without reward btw *g* but if you smut, please sex me some John/Rodney (although RayK/Fraser are always welcome) where they are "quiet" (as in mute, silent, non-shouting even when in orgasmic rapture).

I like all of them, but am really lousy at coming up with appropriate text. Except that the third one clearly wants to say "Share with your friends" or something of that nature.

Do you have text suggestions? Maybe I ought to just leave them as is.

Should you take on of these, I could always enjoy any HP smutlet, but I do think I remember you saying you were working on some longer original pieces? I'd love to read longer fic from your hand again, so that would be my first choice :o)

Longer stuff -- I'm working on two fantasy novels and an original slash story that promises either to be a big wallow in the kink centers or to be crushed under the weight of my self-indulgence. Sometimes smutlets work like warm-up exercises. Sometimes they work more like large lumbering procrastination beasts. Who knows.
